Threads of Love
Threads of love is a joint ministry of Altamesa Church of Christ and Southwest Christian Church reaching out to staff and parents with infants in the NICU of area hospitals. If you can make cards/labels, sort items, deliver to hospitals, sew, knit or crochet and want to make a difference in the lives of these precious tiny infants, their parents and caregivers, we can use you in this ministry.
Congregational Nursing Ministry
Congregational Nursing is the integration of faith and health. Those involved in this ministry provide encouragement and support for church families as they encounter illness and/or surgery.
Kids Night Out
Kids Night Out is a program for families of children with physical, developmental, and emotional disabilities. Volunteers meet at the Altamesa building once a month to provide a fun and safe place for special needs children and their siblings to play while Mom and Dad enjoy a night out.
Children’s Ministry Volunteers
The Children’s Ministry is looking for volunteers to teach, assist, check in children, supervise the playground, and help with other special events. All volunteers must complete a full background check. If you are interested in helping in anyway throughout the year, please contact our Children's Minister, Billy Mack, at billymack@altamesa.org.
