Leadership Training for Christ

Leadership Training for Christ is a convention held on Easter weekend for young people in grades 3-12. The purpose of LTC is to assist young Christians to develop their knowledge of the Bible and biblical principles, enhance their communication and leadership skills, and orient their energies and abilities to areas of Christian service. There are about 30 different events that the kids can choose to participate in, some for individuals and some for teams. More information can be found at www.ntltc.org

To prepare for LTC, the Altamesa Church of Christ holds practices for Bible Bowl, Drama, Puppets, and Chorus teams on Sunday afternoons starting in January. There is a registration fee of $30 for each participant plus the cost of staying overnight at the hotel (usually $100 per night). During LTC weekend, the church provides Friday dinner and Saturday lunch for all participants and their families. We also hold an Awards Dinner on Saturday night at the hotel.

This year, LTC will be held on March 21-22 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. The theme is “Here Am I” from the book of I Samuel.

The LTC committee is Dan and Karen Barker, Matt and Rozmary Byars, and Brad and Brenda Glass.
