Throughout the year the children and youth ministries team up for a time of fellowship. The junior high and high school teams up with the 3rd through 6th grade for events and service projects to buld relationships. This months event was held at Main Event.

For the forth time, Altamesa Church of Christ has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build a home in 2007.

At least quarterly the Altamesa Youth host an activity with the 3-5th graders to build relationships.

On December 18th we invited our Angel Tree participants back to receive their gifts. With over 1000 angels, we had to utilize the entire building to stage the event. The fellowship hall was the first stop to drop off kids to have a snack and watch a movie. Meanwhile parents went upstairs to receive the gifts. Assistance was provided with wrapping the presents in the foyer. I big thank you to all of our members who made this event a great sucess. Over 1000 kids will have something under their tree this year because of you.

On August 6th, 2005 Altamesa put on a 'Community Solutions' day. This day was an offering to our community of free services. These included haircuts, child identification packets, spinal screenings, resume help, wellness checks, budget help and games for kids. The event was a rousing success.
