Laura Drury
Children & Family Minister
Laura Drury graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree and St. Mary’s University with a Master’s degree both in Organizational Psychology. Laura has a background in business, ministry, and education. She has served as a Dean of Students, teacher, and certified chaplain. She and her husband, Derrek, have been married for 27 years and have six children. Altamesa has been their church home for 25 years. Laura has served in children’s, youth, and women’s ministries here. More than any other role in her life, Laura is most excited about claiming the name of Jesus as her savior. She is passionate about investing in the next generation and encouraging all ages to live their lives in freedom and full of adventures with the Holy Spirit.
