Worship Ministry
The worship ministry is a spirited group of servant-hearted volunteers who participate in many capacities to promote a culture of praise and worship in our church in which all are invited to participate. Altamesa has a longstanding history of vibrant congregational singing that is facilitated through the leadership of our worship teams. Through a collective heart for worshiping God, our worship ministry leads the way in connecting our church to one another and to the Lord when we gather together as a church family.
There are a variety of ways to serve within the worship ministry:
Vocalists
Acapella singers in a praise team ensemble and singers with our worship band are both important roles in our worship services.
Worship band instrumentalists
Acoustic guitar, bass guitar, percussion, and keyboard are core components of our band. On occasion, ancillary instruments are also incorporated.
Audiovisual
- Sound technicians serve to manage audio content during our worship.
- Visual technicians serve to manage visualized media during our worship.
- Live stream technicians serve to manage the live streaming of our worship services.
