Series Description: We have all struggled in various ways this past year. Many of us have been pushed to the edge emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Often times, when we begin to lose things like joy, security, rest and peace, our faith suffers too. So, what do we do with feelings like sadness, anxiety, fatigue, and anger? Throughout the story of Scripture, God invites us to speak the truth of our lives - our pain, our despair, our joy, our hope – to the One who can do something about it. Remember these words: “…we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4) So, what if in the middle of it all, God is inviting us into something transformational? How does our suffering lead to spiritual formation, and on the other side of it all, we find a greater sense of life, hope, joy, and purpose? Join us on this eight-week journey as we discover some faithful movements through perplexity and renewal.
