The prophets are often difficult to understand and apply to our lives. Jeremiah is a relatively simple prophet to understand and apply. Jeremiah accepted God's purpose for him in carrying out His divine purpose. We need to look for God's purpose and how the ministry of Jeremiah informs our lives as God's called people. It was not always easy for Jeremiah, and it is not always easy for us as His people today.

    Starting in October

This study is about what the Old Testament law and prophets had to say about 8 specific issues and what application there is there still is for us today if any. We will also look at scriptures in the New Testament supporting the law and prophets on these issues to help us discern how to apply their message to our daily lives. The eight issues we will focus on include:

    • Idolatry
    • Social Injustice
    • Moral Corruption
    • Corrupt Leadership
    • Religious Hypocrisy
    • Broken Covenant
    • Oppression of the Poor
    • Mistreatment of Aliens and Strangers.
