IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to traffic on Saturday for Neighborhood Needs, we ask that everyone coming for the work day park in the East parking lot (the lot by the Children's wing entrance).
Join us for our workday as we address several needed projects:
- Replace Fluorescent Bulbs: We will be in Children’s Ministry area, the office area, and anywhere else there is a fluorescent light fixture.
- Front Flowerbed Cleanup: This project is about clearing out the weeds. Bring gloves and garden tools for removing weeds.
- Grounds Cleanup: This project is about picking up trash around the campus. Bring gloves and a five-gallon bucket. We’ll provide trash grabbing tools.
- Trash Haul-off: We need a way to haul off some furniture left in one of our dumpster enclosures.
- Clean Tables & Chairs: We are focusing on all folding tables and black folding chairs. We will also check these tables and chairs for repairs needed.
- Testing Exit Signs: Find, catalogue, and test all the exit signs in the building.
- T3 Sound System: Check soundboard, wiring, mics, and speakers.
- Prep Children’s Ministry Area for Camp Altamesa Workday: The Camp Altamesa workday on July 12 needs a blank slate to work with. We’ll be clearing out last’s year Camp Altamesa decor.
- Various Handyman Jobs: Replace a few ceiling tiles, repair tables and chairs as needed, water fountain plumbing, and inspect the building for other repairs needed and take note of parts needed.
