Community Resources

Community Resources

Different seasons of our lives or circumstances often necessitate extra support and/or access to resources outside of what we offer through our formal church ministries. While Altamesa does not financially support these specific community resources, we have found the following organizations and the work they do to be helpful resources through our experience in walking alongside people within our church family as well as in our surrounding community.

You can follow the links below to learn more about each of the resources.

Illuminate Ministries provides opportunities for men and women to attend spiritual renewal weekends. The weekend experiences are held in various locations, but all are in areas (such as a working ranch) that provide opportunity to spend focused, intentional time with the Lord outside in nature as well as time with a small group guided by weekend facilitators.

CenterPeace is a faith-based organization seeking to walk alongside individuals who identify LGBTQ+ and/or who have family members who identify LGBTQ+, who are fellow believers in Christ. In our experience, this organization has proved helpful specifically for parents of LGBTQ+ children, in providing opportunities to participate in support groups.
